Unforgettable Golf & Dining Experience

Established in 1996, The Links at Challedon is nestled in Mount Airy, MD on the Carroll and Frederick county border. The par 72 golf course, designed by Brian Ault, the former American Society of Golf Course Architects President, offers challenging yet approachable play with large undulating greens and water in play on many holes.

“I commuted an hour from DC with a friend and it was great. They did not make me pay for an extra cart (brought a guest along) like I thought they would. A few of the holes were spectacular. I bet in the summer with nicer greens it is a hidden gem. Greens were quick but THE COURSE WAS INCREDIBLY FIRM. Was a nice swtich and took some adjusting and getting used to. Was pretty cool all in all, may visit again. Shot 84 single digit handicap, and was proud of it considering what I’ve told you.

“I had always wanted to play this course as the name reminds me of something out of Game of Thrones. Played on Saturday. The course was beautiful.!!! Out in the rolling hills of Carroll County, the layout is fantastic. The greens especially were super soft and my ball pretty much stuck on almost every approach shot. But the crowning achievement was hole number 7! A 150 yard par 3 to an elevated green. HIt my favorite club, my seven iron. I knew the shot was good as it sailed over the front bunker, right on the flag. As I walked up, I couldn’t see my ball. Could it be!!! YES!! It was in the cup!! My first ever hole in one after playing this game for over 40 years!! So kudos to the all the staff at LC. I will never forget that moment!!!”

“I’ve organized a golf tournament at the Links of Challedon every September for the last 4 years. John the Director of Events and Jim the Director of Golf are the most outstanding hosts. Everything is taken care of. If you need something, it’s taken care of in seconds. The service is 100% Quality and so is the catering! We get the BBQ meats package and every time my golfers could not be more impressed. It’s a beautiful course, well taken care of, and the bar and cart staff is always friendly and amazing. I could not have a better impression from this course. Great job Challedon! We will continue running this tournament every single year indefinitely!”
